XRP created golden cross signals on two of its short-term charts even as price secures a much-watched breakout.

A golden cross was completed on XRP's 2-hour chart when the MA 50 crossed above the MA 200 on the short-term timeframe. A similar formation was seen on the 4-hour chart, with the MA 50 rising above the MA 200 in a crossover on this timeframe.

According to Ali, a crypto analyst, $1.13 remains a key level to watch on XRP, as a decisive breakout above it could confirm the bullish breakout and open the door for further upside. XRP surpassed this resistance, putting the next major target at $1.30.

Is it time for a move?

XRP climbed to a high of $1.16 on Tuesday in five straight days of gains from July 17.

According to Santiment, XRP's rise to a two-week high coincides with whale accumulation. Santiment noted that XRP's move back above $1.16 on Tuesday might be justified based on recent wallet behavior.

Whales and sharks holding 100,000 to 100 million XRP have added over 2.8% more coins to their bags over five weeks, showing they are leaning in as the chart finally starts rewarding patience. However, micro wallets with less than 0.01 XRP have dumped by 5.2% over the same period.

Historically, XRP price has tended to move more in line with key stakeholders and against the smallest retail wallets, so this split supports the bullish case behind the bounce.

The timing also fits XRP's improving market story, with institutional access through XRP ETF products and continued XRPL utility around payments, tokenization, and RLUSD keeping XRP in focus. When stronger holders accumulate while micro wallets lose interest, Santiment noted it is often the kind of quiet setup that can support further upside.
