The process is straightforward—once users mint and hold GUSD, they start accumulating returns. Furthermore, if users allocate their GUSD to designated financial products (excluding HODL & Earn and Dual Investment), such as Launchpool or Pre IPOs, they can receive not only the returns from those products but also GUSD yield and additional event rewards. This means a single asset may earn multiple layers of returns.

How to Subscribe to and Redeem GUSD
Eligible users can mint GUSD using USDT or USDC, receiving GUSD at a 1:1 ratio. Yield calculation begins the day after subscription is completed and is distributed in GUSD to eligible accounts by 12:00 UTC on the next payout day. Yields are calculated based on the amount of eligible GUSD held in Spot, Unified, or Funding accounts. Accumulated returns can be checked in either the Spot or Unified account.
If users need liquidity, they can submit a redemption request at any time. The system will convert GUSD back to USDT or USDC at a 1:1 ratio and return it to the Spot or Unified account, subject to the redemption fee displayed on the page at the time of request.
Currently, there are two redemption options:
- Fast Redemption, typically completed within about 5 minutes after submitting the request.
- Standard Redemption, with assets returned on D+3 days after the request.

How GUSD Yield Is Calculated
The reference annualized yield for GUSD consists of two parts: the reference annual yield and additional event rewards. The reference annual yield is not fixed and is dynamically adjusted based on market conditions and product performance. The extra rewards offered during the event are part of the platform’s ongoing reward mechanism and are distributed daily in GT to eligible user accounts. Different subscription tiers correspond to different reward levels, and the extra reward pool is limited—distribution ends once the pool is depleted. What Is GUSD?
GUSD is a flexible principal-protected financial product. Its yields come primarily from Gate ecosystem revenue, government bond RWAs, and high-quality yield assets backed by stablecoins. In addition to providing daily returns, the product also supports trading and collateralization, aiming to balance asset liquidity with stable income. GUSD itself is a yield certificate obtained by minting with USDT or USDC, representing a tokenized real-world or on-chain asset. However, it does not grant holders direct ownership of any real-world assets. When users redeem, GUSD is converted back to USDT or USDC at a 1:1 ratio, minus applicable redemption fees. The product’s annualized yield is dynamically adjusted based on Gate ecosystem revenue, government bond RWAs, stablecoin-related yield assets, and tokenized US Treasury assets.

Eligibility and Important Notes
This event is open only to eligible new users. To qualify, users must not have held GUSD Spot, participated in GUSD minting distributions, or used On-chain Earn services prior to July 1, 2026, 00:00 UTC. If, after logging in, you see information about extra rewards, you are eligible for this event. Sub-accounts are not eligible—even if they complete a subscription, they will not receive extra event rewards. Users from the UK and other restricted regions are also unable to access these services.
