Gate News, April 4, blockchain security company CertiK released a report saying that in March 2026 it recorded 46 security incidents with total losses of approximately $39.8 million (excluding phishing). This is the highest number of security incidents recorded in a month since November 2024. CertiK said that after hitting a low point in the third quarter of 2025, the number of security incidents increased in the fourth quarter of 2025 and the first quarter of 2026. It also noted that there has been a growing trend of code vulnerabilities being exploited, which may be related to the rise of artificial intelligence.
