Iran’s parliament proposes a permanent ban on oil tankers related to the US and Israel passing through the Strait of Hormuz.

Gate News message: On April 10, Ebrahim Azizi, the chairman of Iran’s parliament national security committee, said that parliament has put forward a proposal to permanently ban oil tankers associated with the United States and Israel from passing through the Strait of Hormuz. Under this proposal, ships associated with Israel or traveling to and from Israel would also be barred from passage; this ban would also apply to countries that take actions against the “Resistance Front.”
