Peter Schiff, a stockbroker and famous gold advocate known for his criticism of Bitcoin, has recently issued a warning about BTC after the silver price surged. According to Schiff, the strong rally of silver could have a counteracting effect on Bitcoin, and any market correction could happen very quickly amid significant pressure.

This statement was made after silver prices first surpassed the record of 79 USD/ounce, increasing by more than 10% in a short period and maintaining a strong upward trend for several months. Silver’s breakout has improved sentiment towards metal assets and boosted interest in traditional commodities, including tokenized products.

Meanwhile, Bitcoin remains around 87,000 USD with limited volatility. The contrasting movements between silver and BTC continue to spark debates about the relative appeal of digital assets compared to traditional commodities.
