OpenZeppelin has been funded by the Ethereum Foundation

On October 25th, it was announced that OpenZeppelin, a secure blockchain application standard, has received funding from the Ethereum Foundation. The official statement mentioned that this grant will enable the addition of modular ERC-4337 implementation, promoting account abstraction, and helping developers build more secure applications and flexible smart Wallets. In addition, the team will introduce new signature schemes such as secp256r1, BLS, and RSA to provide broader encryption support.
