The tokenization of real-world assets (RWA) has been stuck on a dilemma: how to find a balance between transparency and privacy? Trust often requires disclosure, but disclosure means losing privacy—this dilemma is facing the entire industry.

There is a direction worth paying attention to. By running conditional verification on-chain through confidential computing technology, assets can prove that they comply with the rules without having to lay out all the details. In other words, your RWA can remain verifiable, meet compliance requirements, while maintaining the necessary privacy—achieving all three. This approach is expected to bridge the last mile from theory to practical application for RWA, making on-chain assets truly usable.

Secure computation is indeed quite interesting; finally, someone is working on this.

Confidential computing is indeed interesting, but to put it bluntly, it's about wanting to have the best of both worlds. The question is, can it really be achieved?

Well said, I have high hopes for the idea of secure computing; finally, someone has reconciled the adversities of privacy and Compliance.

Sounds great, but why do I feel like this is just another "promise to change the world"?

Confidential computing is indeed a way out, but the key still depends on whether there are projects that can really run successfully.

Confidential computing sounds good, but how many projects can actually be implemented... I've long said that privacy and transparency are a tough nut to crack; if RWA is to succeed, it can't avoid this hurdle. Compliance always feels like there are hidden agendas, just afraid that policies might change one day. Having all three? Let's wait and see; it looks to me like another beautiful vision. No matter how beautifully it's put, the key is still who can truly deploy it for use.
