Lighter withdrawal channel temporarily blocked? Official response: Switch to ETH L1 route, arrive within 4 hours

Abstract generation in progress

【BitPush】Recently, the Lighter platform has experienced some technical turbulence. The team announced on the official channel that they have noticed the issue of withdrawal delays and are working on it urgently.

Where is the problem? Mainly because too many people are withdrawing through the Arbitrum route, causing the system to be overloaded. The official recommends not rushing to withdraw for now—consider a different approach—using the ETH mainnet (L1) for withdrawals, which will be more stable. If you choose this method, the funds usually arrive within 4 hours, and the security level is higher. If you really need to operate, please wait a bit longer until the network load decreases.

Looking further back, Lighter’s proof generator is stuck at the block submission stage. The last successfully packaged block was about four or five hours ago, and no new blocks have been confirmed since then. This directly causes users on the platform to be unable to perform normal withdrawal operations, and they have to wait for the official to fix this bottleneck.

Overall, this is a typical technical bottleneck encountered during peak on-chain periods. Please be patient; the official team is working on it.

You're back again, Arbitrum is so congested... Should have switched to L1 a long time ago.

It's the same old story again, just take a different route? Easy to say, users have already been queuing on L1. Who would believe that now, waiting 4 hours? I think it's unlikely.

Coming again? Arbitrum is blocked all the way to the horizon, hurry up and go to L1... Haha, that's why I switched to L1 for withdrawals early in the morning. Getting the funds in 4 hours steadily is pretty good, isn't it? Lighter's proof generator really needs some fixing; it keeps causing trouble every time... Four or five hours without a new block? That's too outrageous. How long do we have to wait before we can move? A simple switch of route could solve this issue, why is it so complicated? Feeling overwhelmed with the load, really, just wait for the official solution. L1 is indeed stable this time, although it costs a bit more, but it's worry-free. The proof generator is acting up again; this platform needs to be optimized quickly. Getting funds within four hours sounds good, provided there aren't too many people... There are so many people on Arbitrum, I might as well stick to the mainnet.

It's another withdrawal congestion. This time, there are too many people on Arbitrum, so let's just go with L1 for a four-hour settlement.
