Caught the second airdrop wave this year. You know how it goes—some rounds pay off nicely, others... not so much. It's not exactly losing money, but sometimes you realize the hours spent on participation could've gone toward something more worthwhile.
Take the timing issue I ran into recently. There were two campaigns launching simultaneously—one I committed to, another I passed on. The second option looked promising too, but you can't chase every opportunity. Every hour spent on forms, verification, and waiting for claims is an hour you're not doing something else. It comes down to picking your shots wisely in the airdrop game. The ones that actually move the needle tend to be the ones worth the hustle.

This airdrop really depends on luck. The one I missed last time actually took off.

ngl Airdrops really just depend on luck; spending so much time on it is exhausting.

honestly the opportunity cost analysis here is spot on but statistically speaking most people treat airdrops like lottery tickets instead of actual time allocation problems... per my analysis you should've tracked both campaigns in a spreadsheet to model expected roi against hours invested tbh

It hurts, both events are happening at the same time, choosing one is regretful no matter which one.

The second airdrop has arrived. It's a bit of a profit, but it's the time cost... Sometimes I think about filling out forms for verification and claiming, and it's not as good as doing other things.
