General Mills announced that it has completed the removal of certified colors from its entire portfolio of K-12 school foods, achieving this goal ahead of its summer 2026 commitment. This milestone was reached by reformulating Lucky Charms 25% Less Sugar Cereal, making 100% of its K-12 school food products free of certified colors. The company has further commitments to remove certified colors from its U.S. cereal portfolio by summer 2026 and its complete U.S. retail portfolio by the end of 2027.
