[Caixin] The competition for market share and price wars in the food delivery sector have impacted Meituan’s performance through 2025, with the full-year loss reaching 23.455 billion yuan and revenue growth significantly slowing down; however, some of the losses are due to increased investments in overseas markets.

On the evening of March 26, Meituan (03690.HK) released its Q4 and full-year 2025 financial reports. In 2025, Meituan achieved revenue of 364.855 billion yuan, an 8.1% year-on-year increase, a sharp slowdown compared to the 25.8% and 22% growth in the previous two years. Notably, after two consecutive years of profitability, Meituan again fell into loss in 2025, with a net loss of 23.354 billion yuan, compared to a profit of 35.808 billion yuan in 2024.
