People’s Daily Online, Beijing, March 26 (Reporter Hao Shuai) According to the website of the State Administration for Market Regulation, the China Enterprise Credit Index for February 2026 is 162.09, continuing the steady development trend.

The national enterprise credit level has slightly increased. In February 2026, the enterprise credit index rose by 0.30 points compared to the previous month. Compared with last month, the number of enterprises newly listed in the abnormal business operations directory decreased, regulatory activity significantly increased, and the proportions of enterprises with low credit risk and those with general credit risk both rose. Multiple factors have jointly promoted the improvement of enterprise credit conditions, and the resilience of enterprise development continues to be evident.

Regional enterprise credit levels have stabilized and rebounded. In February 2026, the top five provinces and cities by credit index are Xinjiang, Anhui, Tianjin, Zhejiang, and Beijing. Compared to January, most regions across the country saw slight month-on-month increases in their credit indices, with Henan and Liaoning showing notable improvements in rankings, and their index growth rates ranking among the highest nationwide. The awareness of compliance among business entities in these regions has strengthened, market expectations have stabilized, and the business environment continues to be optimized and upgraded.

The overall stability of industry enterprise credit levels remains. In February 2026, the top five industries are finance, electricity, heat, gas, and water production and supply, education, water conservancy, environmental and public facility management, and manufacturing. Among these, the finance sector and the electricity, heat, gas, and water production and supply sectors have seen more significant index increases, achieving positive growth for three consecutive months, with credit resilience further strengthening. The rankings for scientific research and technical services and health and social work have risen by 3 and 2 places respectively, indicating a positive trend in credit development.
