On the 11th, local time, Iran’s Minister of Agriculture, Gholamreza Noury, stated that the food supply in Iran is currently stable, with no shortages reported. Noury pointed out in his speech that food security is always an essential component of national security, whether in peacetime or wartime, and that relevant enterprises and all links in the agricultural industry chain should play an active role in ensuring national food security. He stated that with the collaborative efforts of various units in the national production, supply, and distribution system, the Iranian government is ensuring the stable operation of basic living materials and food supply chains, striving to avoid any impact on the supply of daily necessities for residents.
