Two more liquefied petroleum gas tankers heading to India have passed through the Strait of Hormuz leaving the Persian Gulf.

Odaily Planet Daily reports that two more tankers carrying liquefied petroleum gas have left the Persian Gulf, passing through the Strait of Hormuz en route to India. According to ship tracking data, the BW Tyr and BW Elm tankers, flying the Indian flag, are fully loaded with liquefied petroleum gas and were last reported near the northern tip of the Oman Peninsula. Throughout their journey, both vessels have been using transponders to signal that they are owned by India and have Indian crews, which has become a standard safety measure. India is heavily reliant on imports of liquefied petroleum gas from the Persian Gulf and is facing a severe shortage of this type of fuel. (Jinshi)
