Odaily Planet Daily reports that two more oil tankers carrying liquefied petroleum gas have passed through the Strait of Hormuz leaving the Persian Gulf heading to India. According to vessel tracking data, the BW Tyr and BW Elm oil tankers flying the Indian flag are fully loaded with liquefied petroleum gas, with their last known positions near the northern end of the Oman Peninsula. Throughout the voyage, both ships used transponders to send signals indicating Indian ownership and Indian crew members, which has become a standard safety measure. India heavily relies on imports of liquefied petroleum gas from the Persian Gulf and is facing a serious shortage of this fuel. (
