Tuesday at 8:00.. Trump Gives Iran Two Options: Successful Deal or Total Destruction

U.S. President Donald Trump issued a series of statements over the past few hours on Sunday evening, primarily focusing on what he describes as ongoing negotiations with Iran, which he called "deep." He also warned that if the negotiations fail and Tehran refuses to open the Strait of Hormuz, they will face "hell," specifying the deadline for this.

This comes at a time when Axios reported, citing two sources involved in diplomatic efforts, that talks are taking place through Pakistani, Egyptian, and Turkish mediators, via text messages exchanged between Trump’s advisors and Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi.

The site mentioned that the mediation efforts are focused on reaching a package of confidence-building measures that could extend Trump’s deadline and bring the parties closer to holding a meeting. It also noted that the foreign ministers of the mediating countries made phone calls on Saturday with both President Trump’s advisor Steve Wittekoff and Araghchi regarding this issue, "but no breakthrough has been achieved."
