April 8, 2026. Real trading account hits a new high, 3.99 million.
The optical modules were the first to break through during the U.S.-Iran war. After a short pause in between, as soon as the war ended, both of them immediately broke through to new historical highs, lifting the AI sector as a whole and sending it soaring. Today is the highest-profit day I’ve ever had since I started trading stocks. Looking back at April 8, 2025, I believe the account should have only had a little over 700,000 left. I was also trapped, unable to pull myself out, in the short-term trading “casino table” after being scammed. It really was timely reflection and correction that saved me. So if one path doesn’t work, it means the direction or the method is definitely wrong. If you keep insisting and becoming stubborn, you’ll only sink deeper and deeper.
Let me talk about the rebalancing and switching of positions during this period. Recently, I sold Keda Industrial, Sunsea Communications, and Sunshine Power. I sold Keda Industrial because the price action was getting weaker and weaker. I sold Sunsea because the volatility was too high, and it kept pulling back one after another. I wanted to protect part of my profits, and the facts proved that I really sold Sunsea way too early. But at the same time, I also genuinely couldn’t make much sense of Sunsea’s financial performance. I sold Sunshine Power because its performance was simply too bad. Why I sold it—back then I also wrote a lot of words to explain.
The most recent new position I opened is Shenghong Technology. I previously said I was going to sell the stocks above because there was another stock I liked even more. That was Cambricon. But after thinking it through, I realized it’s hard to calculate the performance for domestic supply-chain companies, and the volatility is also high. Since I already sold Sunsea, I couldn’t bring myself to sell into Cambricon again. In the end, I bought Shenghong Technology instead, which is also a stock I think is promising. As a domestic PCB leader, its capital expenditure keeps increasing significantly. The company’s leadership also has a very strong streak of risk-taking—everything from borrowing money and financing to pushing for expansion. In the current era of rapid AI development, buying this company should be a pretty good choice.
