Musk: AI stocks favor Nvidia and Alphabet
On December 2, Musk said in an episode of the “People by WTF” podcast that aired on Sunday: “AI and robotics will become very important. The output of goods and services brought by AI and robotics will be so high that it will overshadow everything else.” When the host asked him which stock he would invest in at the current price level, he provided two names: Alphabet, the parent company of Google, which is also part of the “Seven Giants” (GOOGL.O), and Nvidia (NVDA.O). Musk stated that Alphabet “has already laid the foundation for creating tremendous value from an AI perspective.” Last month, the company launched the highly acclaimed CEX 3 AI model, and Google’s chips have also received increasing accolades. Nvidia is a “no-brainer” choice. It remains a dominant player in the AI race, collaborating with almost all major players in the industry. Beyond AI and robotics, Musk also mentioned that companies engaged in “space flight” business are also potential investment targets worth following. His private company SpaceX leads the launch industry, although some publicly traded companies, including Rocket Lab, are seeking to challenge its dominance.
