Base to launch new Base.dev foundational components, covering metadata, notifications, and distribution features

Gate News, March 13 — Base Build announced that it will launch new Base.dev core components in the coming weeks, aimed at simplifying the process of building, managing, and showcasing applications. The new components cover three major functional modules: metadata features will go live in mid-March, allowing developers to manage application metadata directly on Base.dev; notification features will be launched on April 9, providing a native notification API; distribution features will also go live on April 9 and will be integrated into the Base.dev platform. Additionally, Base App will cease using the Farcaster mini-application standard and Neynar-driven infrastructure on April 9. After that, all applications within Base App will run on a unified web standard.
