Algorand Foundation Completes Strategic Integration, Commits $15 Million to Support Protocol Development

Gate News reports that on March 19, the Algorand Foundation and Algorand Technologies announced a strategic integration agreement. Under the agreement, the intellectual property of Algorand Technologies and the development and support activities of the Algorand protocol will be integrated into the Algorand Foundation. To support the ongoing maintenance and development of the Algorand protocol, the Algorand Foundation commits to investing at least $15 million for technical maintenance, feature enhancements, and technical support.
