Gate News, March 20 — On a prediction market platform, an account with an 87.5% accuracy rate in predicting token launches invested $8,400 to buy “No” in the market “Will EdgeX issue a token before March 31?” At the time of purchase, the probability of “No” was 49%, and it has now decreased to 36%.
According to market settlement rules, if EdgeX officially launches a governance token before March 31 Eastern Time, the market will settle as “Yes.” The token must be freely transferable and tradable; an official announcement alone does not meet the settlement criteria.
EdgeX officials previously stated on January 7 that “XP will be distributed weekly until TGE, which is expected to occur on or before March 31.” Yesterday (March 19), the official announced that the EDGE airdrop distribution is now live. Eligible users can submit and receive airdrops to multiple wallet addresses. The submission deadline is March 31, 2026, at 23:59:59 UTC, which is 17:59:59 Eastern Time.
