A Certain CEX Opens Appeals Channel for Sybil Detection Disputes, Introduces Points Refund and Token Buyback Compensation Plan

Gate News, March 24 — An official from a CEX stated that regarding the platform’s witch detection issue, the team has had in-depth discussions with the person responsible for anti-witch measures. Due to the enforcement team’s insistence on the “one person, one account” compliance standard, some Chinese-speaking users have been affected. Armani and the core team are preparing to immediately open an appeal channel and establish the “Number 3 Rule”: users who have operated three or fewer accounts on a device and are deemed witches will have over 50% of their points refunded after manual review. Additionally, the platform team will launch a special plan in the coming days to selectively compensate eligible users by repurchasing tokens on the secondary market.
