Hark, a mysterious artificial intelligence laboratory founded by Brett Adcock, is developing a new multimodal AI model, hardware, and interface integration solution aimed at creating a seamless personal intelligent product. The system’s goal is to achieve persistent memory and real-time interaction with the world, surpassing current “clunky” models and pre-AI devices. Hark has secured $100 million in seed funding, with team members including former Apple designer Abidur Chowdhury. Hark plans to release its model this summer and is training it using a robot from Adcock’s other company, Figure, but there are no plans for full integration with Figure at this time. Hark’s aim is to embed intelligence into foundational technology to automate everyday tasks in life.
