Gate News, March 25 — Elon Musk announced the suspension of the planned algorithm adjustment to increase exposure weight for creators’ regions on the X platform and said further consideration is underway. Previously, X platform product lead Nikita Bier revealed that starting this Thursday (March 26), the platform will adjust the creator revenue sharing incentive mechanism, focusing on increasing the exposure weight for content from creators’ regions. This adjustment aims to encourage content that resonates with domestic, neighboring countries, and users speaking the same language, while reducing the motivation for creators to optimize traffic specifically for U.S. or Japanese accounts, thereby promoting a more diverse content ecosystem on the platform.
