BlockBeats News, March 25 — According to Press TV, an Iran state-controlled news channel, Iranian officials issued a statement mentioning that Iran has rejected the U.S. proposal and insists that the war will only end on Iran’s terms and timeline.
An official familiar with Iran’s government details stated that Iran will not allow Trump to decide when the war ends. He also emphasized Tehran’s continued defense and determination to strike “heavy blows” to enemies until its demands are met. The official outlined five specific conditions for ending the war, including:
- Fully stopping enemy “aggression and assassination” actions.
- Establishing concrete mechanisms to ensure the war is not imposed on Iran again.
- Guaranteeing and clearly defining compensation and reparations for war damages.
- Ending the war across all fronts and within all resistance organizations involved in the region.
- International recognition and safeguarding of Iran’s sovereignty over the Strait of Hormuz.
Iran has conveyed to all well-intentioned mediators that a ceasefire depends on accepting all its conditions. The official emphasized, “No negotiations will take place before this,” and reiterated that Iran’s defensive actions will continue until the above conditions are met. (Jin10)
