Tether hires KPMG to audit USDT

Gate News reported that on March 27, the stablecoin USDT issuer Tether has chosen KPMG as its auditing firm and hired PwC to assist in improving its internal systems. This move is the clearest signal that Tether is moving towards a complete audit of its financial statements. The scope of the audit will go beyond the monthly reserve attestations currently issued by BDO Italia, providing a comprehensive review of assets, liabilities, control measures, and reporting processes.
