Gate News message: On April 7, according to sources, SpaceX plans to publish its first initial public offering (IPO) prospectus at the end of May, and plans to kick off IPO roadshows during the week of June 8. The day before the roadshow is launched, SpaceX will hold an online meeting for 125 financial analysts across the entire underwriting syndicate. It is understood that the portion of the SpaceX IPO allocated to retail investors will be “very large,” and the company will finalize the final deal structure as the transaction implementation gets closer. SpaceX plans to invite 1,500 retail investors to a major event on June 11. A lead underwriter told banks that the SpaceX IPO will create unprecedented retail demand along with the offering size. Sources say the SpaceX IPO plan is to sell shares to retail investors in the UK, the EU, Australia, Canada, Japan, and South Korea. SpaceX Chief Financial Officer Johnsen said: “Retail investors will be a key component of this offering, and their proportion will exceed that of any IPO in history.”
