Gate News message, April 9, Telegram founder Pavel Durov disclosed that the TON blockchain has just completed a major upgrade, boosting overall processing speed by about 10x: block production speed increased by 6x, and transaction confirmations achieved sub-second level. Durov said this is the first step in the 7-step plan he proposed called “Make TON Great Again (MTONGA)”. Next, TON will further cut the current relatively low transaction fees by about 6x to strengthen network performance and competitiveness on usage costs.
