Gate News bot message, an attack on Hyperliquid involving POPCAT token manipulation has occurred. The attacker spent $3M of their own funds and caused $4.9M in losses for Hyperliquidity Provider (HLP).
According to the incident details, the attacker first withdrew 3 million USDC from centralized exchanges yesterday. The funds were then distributed across 19 different wallets before being deposited into Hyperliquid.
