When I saw OpenAI's IPO valuation soar to 1 trillion dollars.
I was thinking, if closed-source AI can be worth 1 trillion, then the growth potential of open-source AI must far exceed imagination.
The most promising open-source AI project this year, the most anticipated TGE $SENT I think will be @SentientAGI.
The team members include professors from top global institutions such as Princeton and the University of Washington, as well as senior engineers from leading global companies like Google and Microsoft, who have deep experience in modeling, systems engineering, and open-source ecosystems.
Bittensor launched with a 5 billion FDV, igniting the narrative of computing power networks + AI; however, it only addresses the incentive layer, while Sentient is not building models but rather an AGI system, allowing global developers to jointly construct the future of AI. If Bittensor is the Web3 version of NVIDIA, then Sentient is more like the Linux of the AI world.
The core competitive advantage of Sentient lies in its visual and composable Agent Workflow, which integrates search, retrieval, reasoning, and tool invocation into an orchestrated chain, forming a repeatable and scalable AI automation system that supports multiple Agents in collaboration, automated scheduling, and distributed task execution.
Outstanding products are certainly supported by powerful computing capabilities. The computing power of Sentient is composed of GPU, FPGA, and CPU. Multi-architecture heterogeneous design enhances inference performance and resource scheduling flexibility.
Both charts show that Sentient has begun to fully approach or even surpass closed-source systems in key metrics such as reasoning ability, latency, and throughput within the open-source framework.
Sentient is the world's largest open-source AI ecosystem. The number of developers is exploding, the number of models is increasing, application layers are starting to emerge, researchers are beginning to migrate to open-source frameworks, and open-source nodes are continuously coming online. Sentient is not just an AI project, but the largest-scale open collaboration network in the next 10 years.
Sentient Seed Round Financing of $85 million led by Peter Thiel's Founders Fund and Pantera Capital, with numerous top VCs following. When Silicon Valley's top capital Founders Fund first treats open AGI as the next big opportunity.
The next billion-dollar-level AI community I think it will be @SentientAGI
