Daily Question: Is it a bull run or a Bear Market right now?

The answer is: bull run.
However, it should be noted that this is a bull run for mainstream coins like Bitcoin and Ethereum, while it is a Bear Market for altcoins.
The cryptocurrency market can no longer be viewed through the lens of synchronized bull and bear markets. Firstly, #BTC and #ETH , as well as other mainstream coins such as #BNB , are all in a bull run based on trading volume, institutional holdings, and other indicators.
However, for altcoins (in a narrow sense), the indicators clearly show a deep Bear Market. To put it simply and intuitively, in terms of coin prices, for example, the leading public chains Arb and OP, the boundary between bull and bear markets is basically Arb below 0.8-1 and OP below 1.8-2, which can basically determine that it is a Bear Market. Currently, the prices of #ARB and #OP can basically be considered as having been slashed again, and it is hard to believe anyone would say that altcoins are in a bull run.
So how will it go from here? If Bitcoin and Ethereum are still in a bull run, then the funds of market makers and whales will most likely remain in Bitcoin and Ethereum. Additionally, another portion of the funds will be used to launch new coins and exploit retail investors. In the short term, most of the funds will not flow back into the older altcoins, although we cannot rule out a few altcoins making a sudden comeback to showcase their existence and tell retail investors not to give up, that there is still hope to break even. However, this is absolutely not something to chase after at high prices.
The altcoin season is not visible in the short term, unless mainstream coins consolidate at high levels for a long time and can maintain this for about a month. Currently, this seems very difficult.
So, get ready for the altcoin winter. If you're trading short-term, stick to mainstream cryptocurrencies like Bitcoin and Ethereum. If you buy an altcoin now thinking you're catching the bottom, when Bitcoin dips, the altcoin will just drop even harder.
