Hong Kong Tai Po Fire Rescue: Web3 Community Shows Love, Binance Leads the Way, Gen Z En Heng Also Steps Up
As soon as the fire broke out in Tai Po, Hong Kong, everyone extended a helping hand immediately. Our crypto community certainly didn’t lag behind—major platforms and influential figures were among the first to step forward and show their support.
Among them, Binance @binancezh is definitely leading the way. Not only did they take up the banner of aid in the crypto community, but they also truly demonstrated the social responsibility of a Web3 giant. Having followed Binance for so many years, this is what I admire most—they never fail to step up in times of need. Their sense of responsibility is truly admirable.
Following closely behind Binance, OKX, Huobi/TRON led by Justin Sun, and other exchanges have also made strong contributions. As core players in the industry, they rushed to the frontline of aid this time as well. With all the major platforms working together, the crypto community’s ability to rally for a good cause was on full display.
On the individual side, what touched me the most was Binance’s “prince” En Heng @EnHeng456. We all know he’s from the post-2000 generation, and his vision and initiative far surpass most of his peers!
Those who know him are aware that he has always looked up to “Big Cousin” CZ and Justin Sun @justinsuntron as role models. He has not only dedicated himself to learning their philanthropic spirit but also aligns himself with their logical thinking and worldview, integrating all these good qualities into his actions.
He also firmly remembers what “Big Sister” said: “Just do good deeds and don’t ask about the future.” He previously donated 44 BNB to the Giggle Foundation, and this time, he immediately donated HKD 144,400 for the fire relief. Every act of kindness he does is steady and genuine, spreading warmth in a tangible way.
Of course, other exchanges have also joined in and done their part. On the individual and KOL side, besides En Heng, many bloggers and retail investors have also shared their donation records on Twitter—too many to mention individually.
Doing good deeds should never be measured by size—whether it’s a few bucks or a large donation of hundreds of thousands, it’s all sincere. As for those just seeking attention, let’s just ignore them.
In truth, sincere good deeds deserve to be seen. Our industry not only helps people make money, it also quietly helps those in need.
Finally, I hope the victims of the Tai Po fire can soon overcome the tragedy and return to normal life. Web3 has never lacked love—it always stands with everyone! We stand with you!
