Let me explain our profit-taking and stop-loss system after entering a strategy:

Using the coin we just worked on today: ALCH

First, the condition for this coin to enter a short position at the specified level aligns with our expectations, meaning it retraced after reaching our planned top-high short entry point. We provided several reference points for profit-taking, but I will also explain them in detail:

The operation after our strategy entry is defined as “分留守” (divided guarding), which I will clarify below.

1. “分” (divide): Refers to setting multiple partial profit-taking levels, for example, I suggest setting partial positions at 2.08, 2.0, 1.9, etc., to take profits in stages.

2. “留” (leave): We recommend leaving a portion of the position in hand under expected conditions. This means, for this coin, we chose some profit-taking levels to gradually reduce positions, but still keep some positions to let profits run.

3. “守” (defend): Refers to defensive profit-taking, which means that after meeting expectations, we should promptly adjust the defensive profit-taking levels to protect unrealized gains and prevent unrealized profits from turning into unrealized losses! This is very important!

The above is what we usually call “分留守” (divided guarding). In the future, I will generally explain it in this simple way: if the expectations are met, we handle the order with divided guarding. For new friends who are unclear, I will clarify again. For example, ALCH is currently in the divided guarding step, and some parts have already been handled—some have been left to hold, defensive stop-loss levels have been lowered, and partial profit-taking has been executed. This is the most reasonable approach. It’s not necessarily about taking the most profit, because if you want to maximize gains, wouldn’t closing everything immediately give you higher profits?
