They're nowhere to be found when you actually need fact-checking, yet somehow they're everywhere targeting harmless jokes and obviously generated content. It's like the system has completely lost its purpose. The voting mechanism should be used to push back against these misused annotations—if enough of us downvote irresponsible flagging, maybe the quality will improve.
