MicroStrategy's CEO Phong Le recently discussed his "first encounter" with Bitcoin. As early as the beginning of 2020, when this CEO first learned about Bitcoin, his feelings were like standing at a historical turning point.

He used an interesting analogy: Bitcoin is like the Apple that changed the world back then, or Netflix that transformed entertainment consumption, and even more like revolutionary products in the early days of the internet. In other words, today's Bitcoin might be in the stage of the iPhone's emergence or the rise of streaming media — still in its early days with unlimited potential.

This was the latest perspective Le shared during an interview on November 28, 2025. He used the history of product innovation to compare Bitcoin's development trajectory, implying that mainstream asset adoption may have just begun. From his initial personal understanding to his current judgment of Bitcoin's position, this CEO's remarks reveal a signal: large institutions' views on this asset are quietly warming up.

Could early iPhones have achieved the same status as they do now? Bitcoin might just have this fate.

Is Bitcoin really the iPhone era now? I think it's more like still in the stage of Nokia competing with the iPhone... --- I've heard this argument from Phong Le too many times. Every time, they say the early potential is unlimited, so why are they still flipping back and forth? --- Institutional enthusiasm? I only see them selling to retail investors at high prices... --- Comparing it to Apple and Netflix is indeed an overestimate. These two change lifestyles, but what does Bitcoin change? --- The early bird discovered in early 2020, now telling the story—is it to set the rhythm? --- The phrase "unlimited early potential" has been heard for over ten years. When will it truly take off? --- I just want to know how MicroStrategy's BTC holdings are doing now. Talk with real money.

It's the same old "revolutionary product" pitch, claiming it's just the beginning every time... how can they always be so optimistic?

This analogy is quite accurate, but it's already 2025 and you're still talking about the early stages? It's definitely no longer early, haha.
