#大户持仓动态 How exactly do you invest in the crypto world? I have something to say

People often ask me this question. Instead of explaining a bunch of technical indicators and mystical theories, I’d rather share some real experiences.

Three years ago, I started with 1000U, and I was very clear at the time: this is money for practice.
Now, my account has reached eight figures.

**Initial Stage: Survive (1000U to 10,000U)
I never thought about getting rich overnight; I just wanted to avoid losing my principal.

I set two rules for myself:
Single trade drawdown cannot exceed 2%
Whenever profits exceed 20%, I take some out

This approach sounds extremely conservative, but it’s precisely what allowed me to keep my principal intact through those crazy market fluctuations.

**Advanced Stage: Find the Rhythm (10,000U to 100,000U)
I started forcing myself to review every trade, making sure I understood the logic behind each one.
Once, a certain coin tripled in three days, but I didn’t sell. People in the group called me too timid, but a week later, that coin was back to where it started.

At that moment, I realized one thing:
In this market, not losing money is actually winning.

**Breakthrough Stage: Conquer Yourself (100,000U to millions)
As the funds grow larger, my emotions become more prone to losing control.
Later, I found a like-minded friend, and we would "burst" each other’s bubbles.
Once, during an extremely crazy market, he said one thing that pulled me back from euphoria.
I withdrew my position early, avoiding nearly a 30% crash.

After that, I fully understood:
Steady operation can never match the illusion of excitement brought by explosive gains, but making money itself is a steady game.

**Honestly
Don’t be fooled by stories of overnight riches.
Those "success stories" are fundamentally survivor bias at work.

The amount you can finally earn is always limited by your depth of understanding and execution ability.
Market fluctuations shouldn’t affect your quality of life or emotional state.

There are really no shortcuts on this path.
It’s a contest of whether you can stick to your plan, how fast you grow, and most importantly, whether you have a clear understanding of yourself.

I’ve now reduced most of my positions and am patiently waiting for truly valuable opportunities.
What’s next?
This story is not over yet.

Basically, don't be greedy. Living is the top priority, and that's how I do it too.

Honestly, looking at this risk control logic, a 2% stop loss + 20% profit-taking system is indeed reproducible and not just a survivor’s story. The key is execution, which most people simply can't do. --- Survivor bias is well addressed here, but I want to ask, have you encountered any systemic risk event during this process that broke the entire logic? --- From an engineering perspective, emotional outbursts seem to carry more weight than technical analysis. Finding someone to mutually restrain each other is actually an interesting hedging strategy. --- Wait, going from 1,000 to eight figures takes 3 years. Assuming entry at the bottom, how much of this is due to luck? Or can you repeat this growth path in every cycle? --- The phrase "steady game" is a bit harsh. Most people are actually driven by pleasure, not pursuing returns. --- Waiting to reduce positions feels like waiting for a specific on-chain data indicator to trigger? Or is it purely based on intuition?

You're right, mindset is indeed the biggest enemy.
