#数字资产市场洞察 How much money do I need to earn to support the lifestyle the other party desires.

Three months ago, my situation was so bad—car loans and mortgage payments were about to default, and my relationships were reaching a breaking point. At that time, there was no other way out, so I decided to go all in, taking $5000 into the crypto world.

The fluctuations of $ETH and $BTC completely got me hooked. I was opening ten or twenty trades a day, rushing whenever I saw a candlestick move, with stop-loss almost useless, constantly adding to my positions. And what happened? When the market turned, I didn’t even have a chance to breathe, and my account and mindset both collapsed.

Later, I realized—it's not some sharp insight, but pure gambler’s mentality. Ninety percent of people in crypto are suffering from the same problem: they’re not afraid of losing money, but afraid of doing nothing. Seeing others post screenshots makes their hands itch; seeing their own floating losses makes them anxious; a slight move in the candlestick makes them unable to resist clicking the trade interface. The final result? Either getting cut by the market or cutting themselves.

I set three ironclad rules for myself, and these helped me grow from $5,000 to $60,000 gradually.

**First Rule: Stop impulsive trading**

I used to stare at minute charts until my eyes blurred. Now I only look at 4-hour and daily charts; making two trades a day is already good. If I haven’t thought things through, I prefer to stay out of the market and wait. Keep my hands still, and money won’t fly around randomly.

**Second Rule: Be ruthless when winning, be quick when losing**

Strictly control position size within 10% of total funds. Only add to positions after confirming profits; cut losses immediately without delay. When I make 20% profit, lock in half first, and let the rest run with the trend. Don’t fantasize, don’t be greedy—this isn’t just a slogan, it’s a discipline etched into my bones.

**Third Rule: Discipline in execution is more important than finding signals**

If I’m feeling emotional, I log off immediately to avoid impulsiveness; after two consecutive losses, I force myself to rest and don’t take a third shot. I review my trades every day—not to show off, but to honestly face myself—am I riding the trend or just gambling on luck?

Crypto opportunities are indeed plentiful, but what’s truly lacking are those who can resist temptation and hold their positions. In the world of contracts, survival always comes first. Living is already a victory.

If your account is bleeding, don’t rush to find the next trade to make up for it. First, ask yourself one question: Am I truly trading, or am I gambling for my life?

The market is noisy, and everyone needs a place to let their thoughts settle. I’m happy to share some of my ideas and trading strategies. If you’re also looking for such a corner, we can discuss together.

Really, stop-loss is truly heartbreaking. I used to not pay attention to stop-loss, and only after being blown up a few times did I understand.

Honestly, what's most heartbreaking after watching is not turning 5,000U into 60,000U, but that phrase "betting your life." That's just how the crypto world is, really.

This statement is so true; I am also among those who have been dominated by candlestick charts...

To be honest, going from 5k to 60k sounds great, but only those who have truly suffered big losses understand the weight of the phrase "Living is victory."
