That night, I was sleeping when I received a call from a friend. As soon as he opened his mouth, he was speaking passionately: "Bro, big news! A certain project is going to eliminate a zero before 2030! Some big V is spreading it in the community!"

On the other end of the screen, he threw over a bunch of screenshots. Things like "Ten dollars to ten thousand," "Opportunity waits for no one," and someone precisely calculating the return multiple six years from now. He finally asked me: Are you in or not?

That tone reminded me of the time before the LUNA project爆雷.

I didn't answer him immediately. Instead, I opened my crypto wallet and looked at the balance of a certain stablecoin inside. Comparing it to two days ago, last month, even three months ago—nothing changed in the numbers. There was also a small amount of interest slowly accumulating down there. I sent the screenshots over.

"I'm trusting this now," I said, "The prophecy might be empty, but this thing is there every day, steady as hell."

**Prophecies are always the high-grade sedative in the market**

In the crypto community, various "oracles" are never in short supply. When will a coin double, which tokens are guaranteed to rise, what someone said that hints at future trends—these stories spread so quickly because they hit a sensitive nerve of human nature: using the smallest bets to exchange for the greatest chance of getting rich overnight.

Especially those coins that have experienced project爆雷, stories of starting over are the easiest to attract attention. Just like a project that almost went down due to a failed stablecoin experiment, now someone is吹ing the "zero消除 dream." How ironic, right?

But the difference is—one is gambling, the other is accumulation. The former relies on stories and luck; the latter depends on daily certainty. I am increasingly realizing that in this market, stablecoins and those predictions about chasing rises and killing falls represent two completely different ways of living.

It's the same old "10x dream" trick again, I'm tired of hearing it. No news on LUNA yet, and now another one? Wake up, friend. Stablecoins are really attractive; all these predictions are lies. Ten dollars to a hundred thousand, you're dreaming, buddy. I've heard this "zero-sum theory" too many times; it's a dead-end ending. Storing stablecoins to earn interest is much more reliable than chasing after these crazy coins.

Really, I've received this kind of call too many times. Turning ten dollars into a hundred thousand sounds so familiar, it's the same words I heard two years ago.

Good grief, it's the same old "zeroing out" trick again. The LUNA episode hasn't paid its tuition yet.
