In the crypto market, there's something more effective than technical indicators — let's talk about it this time.

Recently, my account grew from 7,000 USDT to 220,000 USDT. Hearing this number, many people instinctively think in two directions: either go all-in or get wiped out and turn things around. Actually, neither is correct.

The method I use might seem a bit simple, but it's precisely this "simplicity" that has kept it alive all this time.

**No candlestick charts, no indicators**

MACD, RSI, various patterns? Haven't learned them. Day trading orders? Never touched. Not out of arrogance, but because in the face of grand market movements, those microscopic technical details sometimes just become noise.

What I actually do is very straightforward: follow a set of rules and repeat them over and over.

**Rule One: Only move 30%, hold the rest**

No short-term trading, no watching candlestick ups and downs. Market fluctuations are just background music. In each trend cycle, only operate with at most one-third of the position — take profits in batches when it rises, wait patiently when it doesn't, and never let emotions drive you to add or average down.

It sounds simple, but in reality, it tests human nature. Most of the time, when the account fluctuates by one percentage point, the mind starts to panic, wondering whether to add or reduce. But this frequent psychological fluctuation is often the root of losses.

**Rule Two: Only trade mainstream coins, stay away from the traps of small coins**

$ETH Mainstream coins are very profitable. I’ve never touched small coins that jump 20% up and 30% down in a day.

On the surface, small coins seem tempting with high returns, but what’s hidden behind? Unrealized gains on paper are often just illusions. The final outcome is usually that before the trend truly arrives, frequent trading causes you to be completely out. Although mainstream coins fluctuate more mildly, it’s precisely because of this "mildness" that they can truly hold until the trend unfolds.

**Rule Three: Money management always comes first**

This is the core of the entire system.

Never invest all your funds at once. The strategy is to divide the principal into five parts, only use one or two parts to enter each time. When the trend starts to develop, gradually add to the position. Until then, don’t try to bottom fish or guess extreme market conditions.

A common misconception many have is thinking trading is about spotting bottoms faster or predicting tops more accurately. But in reality? The highest technical skill or analysis ability doesn’t necessarily mean the biggest profits. Those who stick to discipline and control greed tend to see more stable account growth and less volatility.

**Follow discipline, not predict the market**

This phrase bears repeating. It’s never about luck with black swans or gambling with all-in bets. It’s just one action: follow the trend, strictly control each position size, and stick to this discipline. Step by step, grow the account.

An interesting phenomenon: many friends around me using similar approaches to trade mainstream coins like $UNI have doubled their accounts. The key isn’t choosing the right coin or timing the market perfectly, but the replicability of the method and consistent execution.

The path in crypto is indeed long. No need to rush, take it slow.

That's right, it's this "stupidity" that is the way out.

Everyone is right, but execution is too difficult; most people can't get through that psychological barrier.
