#BTC资金流动性 crypto world has seen changes again. $BTC

Key proponent of the "Strategic Bitcoin Reserve" bill, Cynthia Lummis, suddenly announced that she would not seek re-election. She is fondly referred to in the crypto world as the "Bitcoin Senator" because she is considered one of the staunchest supporters of crypto in the U.S. Senate.

This message is somewhat profound. The advancement of the U.S. crypto-friendly policy relies, to put it bluntly, on a few key figures, and now one of them has suddenly announced their exit, the ripple effect should not be underestimated.

I think there are several angles worth pondering here:

First is the timing issue. The strategic Bitcoin reserve bill in her hands, now announcing that she will not run for re-election? It either indicates a lack of confidence in the bill passing during this term, or she has sensed some change in the political winds. This kind of timing doesn't seem like a coincidence.

Second, the decline in influence. Once she announces that she will not seek re-election, she becomes a "lame duck," and her weight in the Senate naturally decreases. Other senators may be less inclined to support her during votes. The voice of minority factions is already limited, and when the core figure weakens, their voice becomes even smaller.

Third, there is uncertainty about the successor. Although Wyoming is a red state, it is uncertain whether the next senator will be knowledgeable about crypto and willing to stand up for BTC like she does. Policy consistency may be compromised.

Fourth is the timing itself. She chose to announce now, rather than waiting until mid-2026 to speak, and this choice itself is worth pondering. There may be some things that we cannot see at the moment.

However, in the short term, the impact should be manageable. But in the long term, the stability of the advancement of crypto policies may face some challenges. This matter is worth continued observation.

A change in personnel does not equal the end of a policy, but it is indeed time to see the successor's attitude.

Wow, is the Bitcoin senator going to step down? This is a big problem --- Another key figure is dropping out, how can the policy advancement continue? --- timing is so clever, it feels like they sensed some change in the wind --- Once the lame duck effect kicks in, can the next person take over? Not sure if Wyoming can be relied on --- This guy chose to announce it now instead of dragging it out to mid-term, there must be some insider reason behind it --- Short term is fine, but long term this could disrupt the pace of BTC policy advancement --- Once a core figure's voice weakens, it's gone; the minority already has limited power --- Feels like a signal of lack of confidence in the bill passing? Why else announce it now? --- Wait, isn't this a change in political direction? Can encryption still have momentum?

The term 'lame duck' is just ridiculous, it directly turns into a marginalized figure.

Another key figure has run away, and the stability of the policy has directly dropped by 50%. This wave is a bit difficult to endure.

Wow, this timing is too harsh, could it be that the bill has lost all hope?
