I have heard about the concept of RWA tokenization before, which seems to involve putting real-world assets (like U.S. Treasury bonds) onto the blockchain? But I've always been a bit unclear about what the benefits of doing this are, and why it would be investigated by the SEC. Now that they have been "cleared," does this mean that things like on-chain Treasury bonds are now legal?
The most interesting thing is that the price of $ONDO jumped directly to $0.5, an increase of 7.6%! It seems the market is very excited about this news. I'm wondering if the elimination of regulatory uncertainty means that this field is about to explode? Will more institutional funds come in?
