Canton's ecosystem is experiencing rapid expansion. The network currently secures over $6 trillion in on-chain assets through its partner infrastructure, powered by 30 Super Validators and more than 600 Validators ensuring network stability. Daily active users on Canton average around 23,000, reflecting steady adoption. What sets Canton apart in the crowded layer-1 landscape? It's the only public chain designed with privacy as a core feature—not an afterthought. This combination of scale, validator diversity, and built-in privacy mechanisms positions Canton as a differentiated player in the market, appealing to users who prioritize both decentralization and confidentiality.

The built-in privacy is really key, and I agree that it's not just a patch after the fact. However, 23k DAU still feels a bit quiet...

Look at this data, 23,000 daily active users, 60,000 locked assets... Ironically, this is called "rapid expansion"? A few days ago, I was looking through that wave of projects from 2017, and any one of them had numbers ten times these.
Not to be contrary, designing privacy as a core feature is indeed differentiated, but interestingly enough—those who really need privacy have long gone to Monero, so we'll see how long Canton can last with this positioning.

Privacy-built L1s are indeed scarce, but are 23k daily active users really sufficient? It feels like we still have to wait for the ecosystem to make a strong push.

The focus on privacy as a core design is indeed rare, but having 23k daily active users in a layer one track is still a bit small.

The privacy chain track is finally getting interesting, and Canton’s approach of treating privacy as a first-class citizen is indeed different.
---
23k daily active users are still not enough; it needs to reach the million level to really matter.
---
More validators means stability? Why does it feel like it’s all a game for big capital?
---
Can 60,000 in assets hold up? It still feels too small.
---
Privacy + Decentralization sounds perfect, but I’m afraid it’s just another PPT project.
---
Wait, have they really written privacy into the code? Isn’t that just bragging?
---
I’m somewhat optimistic, but let’s see when we can see Canton’s real trading volume on the exchange.
