The cost of Futures Trading

In a 60-square-meter rental room, the account was wiped clean. All the funds accumulated from five years of working disappeared in the futures trading market. At the moment of liquidation, there was no time to think about what to sell—everything that could be turned into cash was put up for sale: second-hand furniture, idle items, anything that could be liquidated. Even arguing with someone for fifty bucks turned into a heated exchange.

In five months, I experienced a roller coaster ride in my life. From the ecstatic joy of making a lot of money to the despair of losing it all, there wasn't much of a buffer in between. What hit harder was the period of not being able to afford meals while still watching the market—this feeling is really hard to explain to outsiders.

The most troubling aspect is the addictive nature of this path. Once you get involved, it's like being locked by something, making it difficult to withdraw completely. Every time you think about giving up, there's a voice saying to try one more time. And so, rationality is worn away little by little, until it becomes unbearable.

Some lessons can only be understood through personal experience and the cost involved.
