#数字资产市场洞察 Recently, the Ethereum community exploded. First, there was an outrageous phishing incident that went viral: a user accidentally transferred 50 million USDT to a scammer because their wallet address looked "similar." After the incident escalated, the officials directly spoke out - demanding that wallets and blockchain explorers stop the trick of hiding parts of addresses and must display the entire address in full. The logic behind this is very simple: the ever-prevalent address fraud has become a major threat to user security.

But while people are watching, there are also a bunch of "fake moves" flying around online. Things like "Fusaka upgrade" and "Glamsterdam update" are all non-existent. The real upgrade to look forward to is the Pectra upgrade—this time it includes heavyweight proposals like EIP-7251, which is currently making steady progress; what is meant to come will eventually come.

From the market perspective, the situation is a bit complicated. In November, Bitcoin spot ETFs experienced over $75 million in capital outflows, and short-term volatility indeed exists. Many people have been pessimistic about the crypto market as a result, but those engaged in technology seem particularly calm—they are focusing on the long-term and are fully dedicated to optimizing the underlying infrastructure of Ethereum. The conclusion is: deep technical upgrades are being carried out intensively; while the market appears to fluctuate on the surface, long-term accumulation has never stopped.

What are your thoughts? Does forcing full-screen display of the address really solve the fraud issue? Which part of the Pectra upgrade are you most looking forward to?

50 million USDT just disappeared, it's really incredible... But displaying the address in full screen won't save those people who operate like tigers. This time Pectra's EIP-7251 is real, those Fusaka and Glamsterdam are just idle people spreading rumors. Who cares about short-term fluctuations, long-term infrastructure is the way to go.

50 million USDT just disappeared like that, it's really unbelievable. But how many people can this full-screen address display trick defend against? It still depends on the users' brains. The Pectra upgrade to EIP-7251 is indeed solid, finally there's some movement. However, compared to all the fake news flying around, I want to see when gas fees can actually drop.

50 million USDT just disappeared like that... To be honest, showing all the addresses won't save those who are quick to act. When will Pectra really go live? I've been hearing rumors for too long. The outflow of Bitcoin ETF isn't something to panic about; it's just normal fluctuation. These fake upgrade messages are really outrageous; everyone needs to learn to discern. The practice of hiding addresses should really be canceled, but the fundamental issue is that users need to be careful. I'm looking forward to Pectra's EIP-7251; I feel it can improve quite a few things. The phishing incident is really just a human nature issue; no matter how you design it, there will always be loopholes. In the long run, technology is key; short-term fluctuations are really not worth mentioning.

50 million USDT just disappeared? Must be really careless, that's why I never trust those automatic hidden address tricks. The Pectra upgrade is the real deal, EIP-7251 needs to be implemented quickly. Showing all addresses can block some scammers, but if you don't use your brain, it's useless anyway. Another Fusaka, another Glamsterdam, these people are really smooth with their stories, I almost believed them. I have to admit, the tech guys work quietly and are much more reliable than those shouting slogans. What's so scary about 75 million dollars flowing out? Just look at the long term, short-term fluctuations are nothing. Displaying addresses in full screen? It feels like a band-aid solution that doesn't address the root cause. When will Pectra actually go live? I've only heard about it but haven't seen it. The security of wallets is a false proposition; in the end, it still depends on users being careful. This time, the Ethereum community reacted quite quickly, unlike some chains that are still sleeping.

50 million USDT just disappeared like that? Oh dear, this is the real hell difficulty. --- Full screen display of address? Nonsense, users just glance at it and don't really pay attention. The fundamental issue still needs to be addressed from education. --- Pectra upgrade sounds good, but I'm more concerned about when the gas fee issue will truly be resolved. --- "Fusaka upgrade" "Glamsterdam update" haha, the scammers really know how to come up with names. It sounds so real. --- Tech people staying calm, I believe in this, but I just don’t know when we will see real profits... --- With fishing scams so rampant, it feels like web3 is still too immature. --- What exactly is going on with EIP-7251, can someone explain it simply? --- Bitcoin ETF has seen outflows of 75 million, it’s indeed a bit precarious in the short term. But I’m still optimistic in the long term. --- Address fraud has become a "big problem", it's time to take it seriously. Hopefully, this time it will be effective. --- Pectra upgrade, please come quickly, I'm feeling a bit uncomfortable waiting.
