Forget the wrapped presents—this holiday season, there's only one gift worth asking for: putting people back at the center, not algorithms.

In a world where every decision gets filtered through recommendation engines and engagement metrics, maybe it's time we remember what actually matters. Real connection, human choice, authentic value—the stuff that no algorithm can truly replicate.

Algorithms should have been replaced a long time ago, really.

Being so deeply poisoned by algorithms, it seems a bit extravagant to say this now.

Forget it, forget it, it's that same old spiel again... real connection? Who isn't living off recommendations these days, buddy?

Forget it, it's better to just give up than to go against the Algorithm.

The algorithm kills humanity, but humanity cannot kill the algorithm; it's a bit ironic.

Centralized algorithms are already annoying enough, do we really have to let them dominate our choices? This is so true. --- Human choice has been ruined by recommendation engines. --- Real connection > algorithmic push, this is not nonsense, it's the scarcest thing right now. --- Wait, put people at the center? The internet has long thrown people out. --- Sounds good, but who will really actively give up algorithms... We are all too dependent on them. --- This holiday, I refuse to be fed by algorithms and will see how long I can last.

The algorithm has turned us all into parrots, but thankfully there are still people who remember what it means to be human. True connections are very expensive; just look at how many people have forgotten how to talk to each other. Another anti-algorithm article; while it makes valid points, we all know that leaving this trap is simply impossible. Putting people at the center? That's laughable; capitalism has long decided what should be at the center. Wait, why is it that the most valuable things have become the least valued? Sometimes I wonder, we have long been trained not to know what is real.
