Do you remember the acquisition storm of FTX? It was truly a plot twist overnight. They were still talking about acquiring FTX in the evening, but by dawn, they had refused. The valuation soared from 4U to 17U, and then fell from 17U to 1U - this rollercoaster-like change in valuation made many people see the truth of the crypto market. A once leading exchange, due to a momentary decision error, ended up delisting. It is indeed a lesson; there are no eternal winners in the market, and the timing and judgment of decisions often determine the life or death of a project. A seemingly stable valuation can collapse in an instant. This is the nature of this industry.

Haha, this is the crypto world—turning upside down overnight.
SBF was still bragging back then, but he ended up crashing and burning.
We liquidation guys know best—there's nothing stable to speak of.
This industry is a gamble—win if you get it right, game over if you don't.
Even the seemingly safe top-tier exchanges can fail; what else can we expect?

empirically speaking, ftx collapse is basically a masterclass in how poor governance structures enable catastrophic decision-making. the data from post-mortems clearly shows token-weighted voting mechanisms would've caught this way earlier... but sure, let's keep pretending founder-led orgs work in 2024 🤓

To put it bluntly, SBF's actions directly led to his own downfall. I was truly speechless during that wave of reversal... One decision can take you from heaven to hell. This is crypto, one second you're a millionaire and the next second you're in the red.

The valuation dropped from 17U to 1U, damn, that's why I don't dare to go all in on any exchange now.

It's clear that this is a bloodbath caused by decision-making procrastination. Who still believes in the stability of leading exchanges? Heh.

lol the math on those valuations literally never tracked... 4u to 17u overnight? classic death spiral pattern I've seen since 2021. didn't need a crystal ball to spot the fundamentally flawed model there
