Knowledge-based MCP sounds ideal, but frankly, it still depends on the trustworthiness of the information source... Who guarantees that the data in that "read-only database" hasn't been contaminated?

honestly read-only mcp stuff is just query theater tbh... if you actually analyze the data flow, you're still paying for the underlying compute. not seeing the gas efficiency angle here ngl
