Institutional interest in crypto ETFs is cooling. Glassnode reports prolonged outflows from $BTC & Ether ETFs since early November, signaling partial disengagement from institutional allocators.

ETF flows usually lag the spot market, but this trend highlights a broader liquidity contraction across crypto. Last week alone, crypto funds saw $952M in outflows, with capital withdrawn in 6 of the past 10 weeks.

Yet, BlackRock's iShares Bitcoin Trust (IBIT) bucks the trend - $62.5B inflows since inception, even outperforming gold in total flows. Despite a rough year, IBIT proves institutional appetite for Bitcoin remains strong long-term.

Market cycles bring temporary withdrawals, but strong foundational funds show crypto's resilience and potential for recovery.
