The tide is turning against AI, and it's becoming impossible to ignore.
What started as hype and optimism around artificial intelligence is now facing real pushback from the public. More people are questioning whether AI adoption is actually beneficial, raising concerns about job displacement, privacy, and the concentration of power in the hands of big tech companies.
This shift in sentiment matters. In the crypto and Web3 space, many projects are integrating AI features—from trading bots to smart contracts to predictive analytics. But as mainstream enthusiasm cools, builders need to think harder about whether AI is truly adding value or just chasing a trend.
The market has a way of punishing hype when reality doesn't match expectations. Projects that lean too heavily on AI narratives without solving real problems might find themselves struggling when the backlash intensifies.

AI hype will eventually lead to real applications someday. Web3 projects are still frantically stacking AI to sell concepts; sooner or later, they'll have to catch up.

AI hype is finally about to crash, I've long been annoyed by those shitcoins raising money under the banner of AI.
There are many AI projects in Web3, but how many are truly useful? Most are just storytelling.

AI hype has peaked, I’ve been saying for a long time that most projects just slap on an AI label to scam investors, and only a few are truly useful.

Haha, it's been obvious for a while now, AI hype is reaching its peak
Another wave of hype, and in the end, it's just more money grabbing... Web3 folks rushing to slap AI labels on their projects, just wait and see

The AI hype has faded... On the Web3 side, a bunch of projects are just riding the AI wave without really understanding what they're doing.

Honestly, the AI hype has long since cooled down. Many projects are just putting an AI shell on and daring to boast.
In my opinion, there are actually very few useful AI applications in Web3. Most are just storytelling to raise funds.
Let's wait and see. In the next bear market, a bunch of these vapor projects will die off.

The current AI hype wave definitely needs to cool down. Web3 projects should not blindly pile on AI features.
