#数字资产市场动态 A fan’s words made me feel a bit vulnerable.

He said: "I really want to succeed so badly."

This sentence is so familiar—back when I first entered the crypto world, I was just like that. How many of you are at this stage now?

Back then, who wasn’t full of passion? Watching K-line charts every day, staying up late to monitor the market, stubbornly holding onto positions, unwilling to accept losses, and reflecting on whether they were too ruthless when liquidated. It wasn’t until being repeatedly beaten down by the market that I understood one truth:

Trading is never about how desperately you fight, but about how cautiously you act.

To put it bluntly—once you truly understand some principles, looking back at these years: you’ve lost time with your family, your health has suffered, and your wallet hasn’t grown much. This industry isn’t something everyone can handle.

I’ve seen many people come in and leave. In summary, there are five types of people who are especially prone to getting stuck:

**Those without a stable income source**—making a profit and going all in, losing and panicking. No buffer, easy to lose their composure.

**Those always hoping for a big turnaround**—expecting a major market move to change their fate, this mindset is the most dangerous.

**Those who can’t read the market and rely solely on intuition**—the market won’t give you profits just because you’re enthusiastic.

**Those who’ve never been caught in a loss and are afraid**—haven’t experienced real loss education, zero risk awareness.

**Those who never reflect and always blame others**—blaming the market or the platform for losses, never questioning themselves.

If you fall into any of these categories, then the market is basically just a "tuition fee collector" for you.

Conversely, those who truly survive and do well share a common trait:

They are patient, don’t gamble, and don’t try to prove themselves. They can secure their gains, and if they lose, they won’t collapse. They know when to act and when to rest.

This is the difference—the ultimate measure in trading is never about who makes money the fastest, but about who can survive the longest. Those who can keep their composure and avoid mistakes will eventually get their turn at opportunities in the market.

Success is not the end goal; staying alive is.

Rough words but true, very harsh. What I fear most is that all-in mentality that changes one's fate in one shot; I've seen too many friends like that lose everything directly. Caution is truly a hundred times more important than risking everything.

Once again, I've been called out, damn it, it hurts. I am the living textbook that relies on intuition + all in, and now the liquidation price is my psychological shadow.

actually, the whole "survival of the fittest" narrative here kinda glosses over the real problem—zero-knowledge proofs of competence, right? like, most retail traders can't even *verify* their own decision-making logic, let alone prove it cryptographically. they're just running on vibes and selective memory, which is... information theoretically insecure at best.

Oh wow, that hits close to home... I'm also several of these five types of people.

Hmm, that hurts... I'm the kind of person who goes all in, and only now do I understand what the meaning of "living" really is.

That really hits home. I especially understand the mentality of "wanting to succeed too much"... It's actually just being hijacked by greed.
