Tuesday's A-share market is about to open, and I want to discuss the upcoming trend with everyone.

To be honest, Monday's performance has somewhat weakened my confidence in the bullish outlook. The A-shares closed in the red on Monday, which is not a good sign—pressure for a pullback from high levels is likely to be gradually released starting Tuesday.

The more critical issue lies in the trading volume. Since last month, the A-share market has been in a continuous shrinking volume pattern, with daily average trading volume only around 1.88 trillion yuan. Occasionally it breaks through 2 trillion, but such volume surges are not sustainable and lack continuity. What does this mean? Without sufficient volume support at high levels, the probability of a downward move is clearly higher than an upward one—"High places are cold," as the saying goes.

Based on this judgment, here are my views for Tuesday:

**Opening direction**: The Shanghai and Shenzhen indices are likely to open lower, with the Shanghai Composite Index probably starting below 3961 points.

**Throughout the day**: Both bulls and bears will likely engage in fierce confrontation, but the probability of closing with a decline is higher. Individual stocks won't be spared either; there will be far more red than green. In simple terms, there is no chance for the A-shares to break above 4000 points on Tuesday.

**Sector performance**: Sectors such as non-ferrous metals, photovoltaics, semiconductors, and gold will follow the overall market downward.
